Live for Speed isn’t just another racing game or driving simulator. It actually stands out from other video games in its genre, in part thanks to the unusual way of controlling your car in the game: using the mouse. This driving style is definitely different from what most of us are used to, and it will probably take you a bit of practice to start driving on the PC using the mouse instead of keyboard controls, but once you get the hang of it you’ll see that driving this way actually gives you greater agility at the wheel.
In Live for Speed, you can customize your car by changing many elements, including the color, some of the mechanical settings, the wheels, the plate, etc. And whatever settings you choose for your car in the single player game mode will be saved and used when you go to play against real opponents online, so you will always be unique.
That being said, the graphics in Live for Speed leave something to be desired. If you aren’t sure whether this is something that you’ll like, then this download for a free demo version is a great chance to give it a try without committing to buying the full version.
